Died	W. J. Featherston Walter J. Featherston son of the late John and Lettia Featherston of LeMars, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 2 at a Cherokee hospital. Mr. Featherston was 80 years of age plus two days. He was born atCascade, IA. on April 20, 1881. He moved to Le Mars, Plymouth countywith his parents in 1882 and lived in Union township until 1912 when hemoved to Le-Mars. He attended Le Mars Normal College and was a member ofthe Methodist church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. F. S. Kitterman of Benton Harbor,Michigan; two brothers, Fred of Johnson City, Illinois and Greg of LeMars. Several nieces and nephews live in this area. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5 at the MauerFuneral home in Le Mars. Burial will be in the Le Mars city cemetery.Rev. Robert V. Gildner will officiate. Le Mars Globe Post Thursday, May 4, 1961 Le Mars, Iowa
