- [S2350] Robert KEMSLEY, Robert KEMSLEY, (2017), Good morning Paul from Australia:
I am currently researching the FEATHERSTONE family and more so Priscilla (Naomi) FEATHERSTONE b) Sep ¼ 1852, Hollingbourne District, Kent, England who in 1873, Married Thomas HOLLAND (Sergeant Royal Marines) b) Jun ¼ 1844 Barrow Upon Soar District, Leicestershire, England.
Thus far: Thomas HOLLAND cannot be found in the 1851 Census and died after the 1881 Census.
But it’s Priscilla FEATHERSTONE who cannot be found in the 1861 & 1871 Census and reappears in the 1881, 1891, 1901 & 1911 Census.
I am told Priscilla d) Mar ¼ 1923, Maidstone District, Kent, England.
Would you have any idea as to where Priscilla may have been for the 1861 & 1871 Census?
My connection to the family is through Thomas & Priscilla’s Daughter Susannah Maria HOLLAND who married John Richard KEMSLEY, an elder Brother of my Grandfather, Nathaniel Alfred KEMSLEY.
Regards:
Robert KEMSLEY.
