      Hello Paul and Pam, My sister an I went to the Guildhall Library in the City of London and looked up Robert and Louisa's marriage. Very quickly we found the fiche of their actual certificate, signed by them both, with witnesses as John Beech and Elizabeth Cooper. We had a photocopy taken of the certificate so we have that in our archives now. It was also very interesting to see the chuch (The Ward and Guild Church of St Botolph without Aldersgate) which is a little square building painted green. It is next to the Postmans Park in Aldersgate. Next time we go to London we will take a photo of it.
      Would you like a copy of the certificate? It might not come out very well but I can scan it into the computer and see how it goes. We have now confirmed that Robert spells his name "Beech", not "Beach" as it is in his own writing! I think that's all for now. Regards Gill Gproudfoot@btinternet.com
