Grandmother, Elizabeth Chatterley. Good folks on this list have, in the past, been greatly (and gratefully) helpful with my Featherstone & PALMER group - but I've tried, off and on, for over a few years now to find anything at all about Elizabeth Chatterley - no no avail. Hoping someone out there can help; here's the info: Francis Featherstone "the elder" b. abt 1749, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Wor; d. 13 November 1830 Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Wor.married: (on 24 Feb 1774 at St. John the Baptist Church, Bromsgrove) Elizabeth Chatterley - of whom I can find absolutely nothing. Elizabeth was alive in 1830 when her husband, Francis Featherstone died; his will names her as a beneficiary. Their children were: Sarah Featherstone: b. 26 June 1774 - d. 5 June 1839 - mar. Phillipa chr. 28 April 1791 Tewkesbury, Gloucester - dau of John HOPE & Jane MERRICK - have not found her date of death) Another list member, a few years ago, (a descendant of Sarah Featherstone & James WARR) was exceptionally helpful - I'd been trying for a long time to find the ancestors of my 2X gr. grandparents (Thomas PALMER (1802-1883) & Anne Sarah Featherstone, 1814-1899 -- dau of James Featherstone & Phillipa Hope) and she was so very, very helpful to me. But I cannot - for some reason I simply cannot! - find any Elizabeth Chatterley who fits into this timeline at all.... no birth, no death, nothing in any Featherstone collected info, just nothing.....
