- [S1850] Contact Nick Diggle, Nick Diggle, (2015), Dear Paul (if I may),
Many thanks for your swift response. Although I have conducted a fair bit of internet research, I fear that very little is known about my grandmother (Myra Adine Kinchant Featherstone). She was definitely the younger (and only) sister of Belford Kinchant Featherstone...who my my mother met on a number of occasions. The main reason for the lack of information is that Myra died in 1933 aged 33 days after giving birth to my mother; moreover, my mother's father (James Drummond) died 9 years later. The main details I have, therefore, are as follows:
Myra Adine Kinchant Featherstone (a.1900-1933):
Married (in a.1931) Captain James Ekstrand Drummond MC (b. 1888 died 01/01/1942) at St Margaret’s, Westminster, London. Died 13 November 1933. One daughter (born 07/11/1933), Adine Kinchant Drummond (k/a Pippa) who on 12 September 1968 married Lt. Commander Wadham James Diggle RN, (by whom she had one son, Lt. Commander Wadham Nicholas Neston Diggle RN, born 07/11/1969).
Please don't hesitate to contact me should any of the above require clarification and I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Nick
(aka Wadham Nicholas Neston Diggle!).
