    • Ruby Bell was the daughter of George W. Jr., and Nancy Jane French Wilson, wife of James William 'Fain' Featherston and mother of Robert Lee, Gladys Eva, William Wallace, George Davis, Earl Wayne, Albert Leslie, Minnie Jane, Geneva Juanita, James Bailey, and John Ralph Featherston. Ruby had a greeting card business in Gatesville, which also consisted of vanilla flavoring and other small gift items. The little old ladies loved to see her come, and they would buy her stuff so she would come back and visit them. She traded some of her stuff for quilts and other things that old ladies made.
