During World War II served as a Signalman, AIF, in Papua New Guinea on the Kokoda Track and in Australia. They were married for 57 years. They honeymooned at Brunswick Heads,Queensland. I have his original Certificate of Discharge from the Australian Military Forces:- NX 130730 Signalman N.G. He worked for Everett Worthington, I have an old catalogue featuring his designs. He had the patent on a unique draw handle design.
